Legal teams can now use Gemini Enterprise for Legal to analyze documents, generate early case insights, and quickly understand new matters—all while maintaining defensibility with evidence anchored in Everlaw.
Oakland, Calif. — Aug. 25, 2026 – Everlaw, the AI-powered litigation and investigations platform, today announced a partnership and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration with Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise for Legal that will help legal teams use Gemini Enterprise on top of Everlaw’s trusted, governed evidence foundation.
As legal teams adopt general-purpose AI tools, many still lack a defensible way to connect those tools to evidence when managing litigation or conducting internal investigations.
Everlaw’s partnership with Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise expands legal teams’ technology choices, giving them another way to use frontier AI on live matter, data–grounded in Everlaw’s governed evidence foundation, so they can move faster without compromising defensibility.
“As legal teams adopt more AI tools, the real unlock is not just great intelligence. It is secure, governed access to the evidence and matter context those tools need in order to be useful for litigation or investigations,” said Max Christoff, Chief Technology Officer at Everlaw. “Our MCP integration enables Gemini Enterprise to access a powerful set of Everlaw capabilities focused on working directly with the evidence record—including search, document and metadata retrieval needed by legal professionals. Access to the evidence in Everlaw is governed in real time by the user’s own permissions, whether asking a quick, one-off question about a complex document or asking Gemini Enterprise to plan multi-step research about the case.”
With the integration, legal teams will be able to use Everlaw directly in Gemini Enterprise for high value areas such as analyzing vast troves of documents, generating early case insights, and planning for new matters – moving from raw data to case strategy with greater confidence.
Everlaw provides the platform where legal teams turn vast amounts of litigation data into effective case strategy. Gemini Enterprise adds a new AI option for synthesis and insight, while Everlaw remains the defensible system of record for the underlying evidence, permissions, and audit trail.
“We’re excited to partner with Everlaw as legal professionals increasingly turn to AI to navigate growing volumes of information and accelerate complex investigations,” said Satish Thomas, Vice President, Google Cloud. “By connecting Gemini Enterprise with Everlaw’s trusted platform for litigation and investigation data, we’re making it easier for legal teams to understand complex matters faster, surface key facts earlier, and use AI with greater confidence in the underlying evidence.”
The partnership reflects Everlaw’s broader approach to AI interoperability: legal teams should be able to work with the tools they prefer without moving sensitive evidence into disconnected systems or compromising the governance framework legal work requires.
“As our team expands its use of AI tools, we’re excited about the opportunity to connect platforms like Google Gemini directly to Everlaw, so we can get oriented to matters faster, surface important facts earlier, and generate insights with confidence in the underlying record,” said Julie Brown, Director of Practice Technology at Vorys.
This announcement is another step in bringing the power of Everlaw everywhere legal work gets done, while keeping the evidence itself in the platform built to manage it. Everlaw is available in Gemini Enterprise today in a private beta and will be available for all joint customers of Everlaw and Gemini Enterprise soon.
