SÃO PAULO — Sept. 24, 2026 — Today at the Google Cloud Brazil Summit, Google Cloud introduced new innovations across its AI stack to help organizations in Brazil and across Latin America scale agentic AI and drive business impact.

While Brazil leads the region in AI enthusiasm with 62% of Brazilian organizations implementing and accelerating AI agent adoption, only 17% have consolidated that adoption with the necessary levels of governance to adopt them across multiple core processes, according to a new Google Cloud-commissioned study by IDC and Provokers. Today, Google Cloud is helping Brazilian enterprises bridge this divide, delivering the integrated foundation needed to manage compute costs, support heavy agent workloads, ground intelligence securely, and enforce governance.

Investing in sovereign infrastructure and AI capacity in Brazil, for Brazil

To address rapid Gemini Enterprise adoption and Google Cloud demand across South America, Google expects to double its technical infrastructure in Brazil by 2030 with increased localized compute, storage, and high-performance AI processing.

Starting October 15, Gemini Enterprise on the web will support local in-country data processing for Gemini 3.5 Flash in Brazil along with the existing support for customer data storage for agent workloads. These enhancements will provide  disaster recovery and ultra-low latency for mission-critical enterprise AI workloads designed to support customer alignment with Brazil’s strict regulatory and sovereign data requirements. Across all regions and models, Google Cloud’s enterprise commitment is absolute: customer data and outputs are never used to train base models without explicit consent.

To power these agent workloads locally, Google Cloud G4 virtual machines (VMs), powered by NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, are now available in the São Paulo cloud region. This regional availability provides Brazilian and Latin American enterprises with cutting-edge AI accelerators that deliver the high throughput required for heavy inference and real-time workloads on secure infrastructure closer to their users and data.

Debuting new Gemini Enterprise and Data Cloud capabilities to scale agentic AI deployment

Gemini Enterprise empowers organizations and employees to build, deploy, and manage AI agents grounded in real-time enterprise data and secured by built-in governance controls.

Today, Google Cloud is introducing new capabilities across Gemini Enterprise and Data Cloud that reduce the operational friction of moving from prototype to production, and give organizations the tools, testing environments, and data to deploy agents safely and at scale.

• Projects: A dedicated space to use Gemini Enterprise with a specific set of files or documents for an individual employee or shared with a team. Projects are persistent, meaning they maintain a shared organizational memory, context, and operational state over time.
• Skills Registry: Offers a centralized registry to govern skills across the organization, setting policy for which skills can be used by a given agent, individual, or team. Skills are a set of instructions, scripts, and resources that teach an agent to do a specialized job.
• Agent Sandbox: Secure, isolated, and managed sandbox environment for agents to leverage to compile and execute code, use a command-line interface (CLI), or use a full computer environment including web browser (clicking, navigating websites, and taking screenshots).
• AlloyDB delivers PostgreSQL for Agents: Introduces a next-generation PostgreSQL architecture that scales to support millions of collaborating AI agents, enabling live operational queries and lakehouse analytics without impacting core production systems.

How Brazilian enterprises are putting agents to work with Gemini Enterprise

Across industries – from legal  to agriculture, and retail to financial services – leading Brazilian companies are putting Gemini Enterprise at the center of their AI operations:

• Bradesco is using Gemini Enterprise to automate fiscal, accounting, and contractual analyses, cutting document review times from one hour to just five minutes.
• CNA is delivering agronomic intelligence and technical guidance to millions of rural Brazilian farmers through a conversational AI assistant on WhatsApp.
• Livelo is automating core business processes like review moderation and the digital pipeline for channels and campaigns, recovering 20,000  hours per year for strategy and innovation.
• Sabesp is automating its legal workflow, deploying AI agents to identify potential fines and accelerate defense preparations, significantly increasing efficiency in their litigation practice.
• SulAmerica is creating specialized agents with governance for repetitive tasks such as tickets and reports, freeing hundreds of operational hours for business, IT, and data teams.

To help local companies accelerate adoption, Google Cloud is expanding its team of in-country Forward-Deployed Engineers (FDEs)—specialized AI engineers who embed directly within customer technical teams. Industry leaders including Magalu, and Natura are collaborating with FDEs to develop core business applications.

Agentic Defense: Securing the AI lifecycle at machine speed

To help local organizations secure their environments, cybersecurity must operate at machine speed. Today, Google Cloud announced new offerings and capabilities across its cybersecurity portfolio to help secure code, databases, and enterprise platforms:

• Complimentary security exposure assessment: For organizations in Brazil, Wiz will offer a free scan using its Red Agent – an AI-powered pentester that uncovers complex, exploitable risks at machine speed. In the assessment, Wiz will scan your external attack surface, validate exploitability, and provide a prioritized report for remediation.
• Model Armor expansions: This includes new native image screening support, enhanced detection for indirect prompt injection embedded within Google Workspace files, and an expanded context window of up to 64k tokens (Generally Available). Model Armor is also adding exclude lists to reduce false positives, alongside extended guardrail support for Anthropic models hosted directly on Gemini Enterprise (Public Preview).
• Securing autonomous workflows with verifiable, enterprise-grade access controls: Auth Manager (Generally Available) is designed to reduce or eliminate the need for custom code for token refreshes, credential management, and injection across complex OAuth flows, while JSON Web Token (JWT) support (Public Preview) enables cryptographically attested authentication for secure agent-to-agent (A2A) orchestration.

Empowering Brazilians to build with AI

To prevent financial barriers to professional certifications and to support the local technical ecosystem, Google Cloud is launching a major new initiative to provide 10,000 free certification vouchers for developers in Brazil. This program directly supports Google Cloud's broader commitment to upskill 3 million Brazilians in AI and cloud technologies by 2030, offering key industry-recognized credentials such as the Associate Cloud Engineer and Generative AI Leader certifications.

In addition, at tomorrow’s Google Cloud Summit in São Paulo the company will hold its next edition of Capacita+, Google Cloud’s free hybrid AI training initiative designed to upskill students, non-technical professionals, and developers across Brazil and Latin America. In partnership with more than 150 educational institutions across the country, the event aims to train 200,000 people in a single day.
