Aparna Ramani is the General Manager of Google Cloud AI, where she leads product and engineering for enterprise AI solutions. Her work focuses on scaling enterprise AI capabilities and next-generation AI agents to power the agentic enterprise—efficiently turning frontier AI into the most valuable and impactful business outcomes for customer organizations.
Before joining Google, Aparna spent nearly a decade at Meta as Vice President of Engineering, leading Data, Developer, and AI Infrastructure for Meta Superintelligence Labs. During her tenure, she oversaw exabyte-scale data processing systems and the large-scale training infrastructure used for core models like Llama, serving billions of users globally. She also championed the open-source ecosystem, spearheading PyTorch to advance industry-wide AI research. Earlier in her career, she served as Senior Director of Engineering at Cloudera, leading product development for the company's big data platform, and held engineering leadership roles at Yahoo!, Microsoft, and Fujitsu.
Aparna holds an MS in Computer Science from Arizona State University and is currently based in the Bay Area.
