As Chief Product and Business Officer of Google Cloud, Karthik Narain leads product and engineering teams across cloud, developer, data and Applied AI, the go-to-market organization, and works closely with Google Public Sector. In this capacity, he is responsible for product development, global revenue and go-to-market motions, providing end-to-end leadership from product innovation through global market execution.
Karthik joined Google Cloud from Accenture, where he most recently served as Group Chief Executive of Technology, Chief Technology Officer, and Chair of the Board of Avanade. He was instrumental in overseeing Accenture’s technology vision, strategy and execution. He previously led Accenture’s market-defining Cloud-First and Data & AI businesses, which were widely recognized as the market leader across enterprise customers, technology partners and industry analysts.
His expertise spans cloud, data & AI, security, enterprise and industry platforms, developer tools and application & infrastructure engineering. He has personally led major cloud and AI-based modernization and transformation initiatives for G4000 companies across every major industry and public sector entities around the world.
Karthik holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University in India.
