Kerrie Peraino

Vice President, People Operations, Google Cloud

As Vice President of People Operations for Google Cloud, Kerrie leads a team that drives the talent strategy and organizational effectiveness to support the growth of the Cloud business. 

Before joining Cloud in March 2025, Kerrie served as Chief People Officer at Verily, an Alphabet company, where she led the development and implementation of the people strategy in support of the company's purpose: bringing the promise of precision health to everyone, everyday.

Prior to Verily, Kerrie was VP People Operations at Google, leading Business HR and the Googler Experience team of over 600 HR professionals. As the lead People Partner, she and her team developed and drove the people plans for Google’s product areas, business teams, and global functions in partnership with business leaders. 

Before joining Google in 2017, Kerrie spent 20 years at American Express, holding a variety of senior HR leader positions across the business and culminating in her role as Chief Talent Officer and SVP, Global Talent Management. As the lead architect for the enterprise talent strategy, Kerrie and her team led talent acquisition, executive recruitment, talent planning, succession management, and the development of the firm’s leadership framework and talent pipeline.

Her work and writings have been featured in a variety of publications, including The Sponsor Effect: Breaking Through the Last Glass Ceiling, a Harvard Business Review research report for which Kerrie served as a thought leader and contributing author. 

She holds a BA in Communications from Rutgers University and an MA in Corporate Communications from Seton Hall University.
