Matt Renner

President, Global Field Organization, Google Cloud

As President of Google Cloud Global Field Organization, Matt Renner leads the global go-to-market organization, including teams across sales, consulting, partner ecosystem, and customer engineering. In lockstep with Google product and engineering teams, this organization helps businesses of all sizes across industries and geographies transform in the cloud, powered by artificial intelligence.

Matt brings more than 25 years of experience in helping customers adopt technology solutions and drive value in the form of improved operations, optimized business processes, and re-imagined customer experiences. He previously served as President of North America and Global Startups, and Chief Operating Officer for Google Cloud go-to-market. Before joining Google Cloud, he was President of the U.S. Enterprise business at Microsoft. He also held a number of senior leadership roles at Salesforce and Oracle Corporation.

Matt sits on the Moody College Advisory Board and the Board of Directors for 1871. He regularly engages with his local technology community, including advising the Chicago-based tech-advocacy body P33, as well as the economic development agency World Business Chicago. Matt has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
