As Chief Revenue Officer, Matt Renner leads Google Cloud’s global go-to-market organization, overseeing sales, customer engineering, consulting and partner ecosystem worldwide. In close partnership with product and engineering leaders, his teams help organizations across every industry modernize their operations and solve critical business challenges with Google Cloud and enterprise AI.
With over 30 years in enterprise technology leadership, Matt has built and scaled high-performing sales organizations across the industry. Prior to his current role, he served as Google Cloud’s President of North America & Global Startups and Chief Operating Officer for Cloud GTM. His career also includes leadership as President of Microsoft’s U.S. Enterprise business, along with senior executive roles at Salesforce and Oracle.
Matt serves on the advisory board of Moody College at the University of Texas at Austin. He regularly engages with his local technology community, including advising the Chicago-based tech-advocacy body P33, as well as the economic development agency World Business Chicago. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
