Chief Marketing Officer, Google Cloud
Stephanie Buscemi is a marketing executive with over 25 years of experience building and scaling global organizations at the intersection of enterprise software, cloud, data, and AI. She has led marketing at some of the industry's defining platform companies, and has built a career on turning category vision into commercial reality: the discipline where story meets system, and inspiration becomes impact.
As Chief Marketing Officer at Google Cloud, Stephanie leads global marketing for one of the fastest-growing platforms in enterprise technology, shaping how the company brings its full AI stack, from infrastructure and models to enterprise-grade deployment, to market. Her focus: translating engineering depth into clarity that customers can act on, and building the go-to-market discipline that turns AI ambition into enterprise outcomes.
She joins Google Cloud from Confluent, where as CMO she led Global Marketing, Developer Relations, Field CTOs, Technology Strategy, and SDR organizations, and played a central role in defining and commercializing the data streaming platform category. Before that, she was CMO at Salesforce, where she led a global team of 1,800+ marketers and set go-to-market strategy across the full portfolio. Her career also includes senior marketing leadership roles at IHS Markit (acquired by S&P Global), SAP, Business Objects, and Hyperion (acquired by Oracle).
Stephanie serves as an independent director on the board of Iterable and previously served on the board of Clari. She is also a board advisor to leading AI start-ups, where she works with the founders and leadership teams on category creation, go-to-market strategy, positioning, and the discipline of scaling from early traction to market leadership.
She is a committed mentor to the next generation of marketing leaders, driven by the belief that great careers are built by investing in others and paying it forward.
Stephanie has been recognized by Forbes, Business Insider, and Adweek among the most influential and innovative CMOs in technology. She is a graduate of UCLA, co-author of Driven to Perform, a guest lecturer at Wharton and UCLA, and a longtime advocate for women in leadership and technology.
