Amit Zavery is Vice President & General Manager and Head of Platform for Google Cloud, where he is responsible for defining product strategy, running engineering and building the business application platform business.
Before Google, Amit was Executive Vice President and Corporate Officer of Oracle Cloud Platform and Middleware products. He led Oracle’s product vision, design, development, and go-to-market strategy for cloud platform, middleware, Java and analytics portfolio and oversaw a global team of more than 4,500 engineers.
Amit has a proven track record of designing and delivering market-leading products and building organizations by recruiting and retaining world-class talent.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University.
